As the premier non-profit management consulting organisation in Ateneo, the Blue Consulting Group strives to create the best avenue for learning about business in the real world, to produce competent consultants for our clients, and to ultimately contribute to nation-building through our engagements.
One of the channels we developed in order to best meet our clients’ needs is through our Facebook chatbot. This Privacy Policy describes how your information is collected, used and shared when you use it. Note that this Privacy Policy is inspired by the Privacy Policy of Facebook Workplace (https://www.facebook.com/legal/FB_Work_Privacy) as the chatbot functions within Facebook, and thus, their policy serves as a viable basis. All rights and credits to them.
I. What information is collected by the chatbot?
The Blue Consulting Group may collect the following when you, your colleagues, or other users access the chatbot:
publicly available information on your profile which includes but is not limited to the following:
your contact information, such as your profile name, email address, and profile link;
your work title, department information, and other information related to your work or Organisation;
content, communications, and other information you provide when you use the chatbot. This can include information in or about the content you provide;
content, communications and information that other people provide when they use the chatbot. This can include information about you, such as when they share details on or make comments about you or refer to us your contact information; and
information that you provide when you or your Organisation ask for support from our organisation members with regards to the chatbot.
II. How will the Blue Consulting Group use this information?
The Blue Consulting Group will share the information that it collects from the chatbot in order to allow the Blue Consulting Group to provide and support the individual or entity accessing the chatbot, the individual or entity aimed to benefit due to the interaction with the chatbot, the organisation, the organisation’s members and stakeholders (which includes its clients), and nation-building as a whole. Examples of such use include:
communicating with chatbot users, organisation members, and organisation administrators regarding the use of the chatbot in order to better develop the channel;
enhancing the security and safety of chatbot users through investigation of suspicious activity or violations of applicable terms or policies;
personalising your experiences with the organisation when you inquire, consult, or partner with us;
developing new tools, products, services, or channels for the organisation to best meet its mission and vision;
associating activity on the chatbot across different devices operated by the same individual to improve the organisation’s understanding of the need or concern;
identifying and fixing of lapses and/or errors that may be persist; and
conducting data and system analytics, including research to improve the organisation and its channels.
III. Disclosure of information
The information collected is disclosed in the following ways:
to third-party service providers that assist in providing the chatbot or is part of the chatbot;
to third-party apps, websites, or other services that you can connect to in relation to the chatbot;
in connection with events that involve the transfer of the service, a merger, consolidation, asset sale, or in the unlikely event of bankruptcy or insolvency;
to protect the safety of any person; to address fraud, security or technical issues; and
in connection with a subpoena, warrant, discovery order or other request or order from a law enforcement agency.
IV. Accessing and modifying your information
You may access, correct or delete information that you have uploaded to the chatbot using the tools within the platform in which the chatbot operates (for example, deleting a sent message for all). If you are not able to do so using the tools provided in the chatbot, you should contact the Blue Consulting Group in bcg.ateneo@gmail.com.
V. Third-party links and content
The chatbot may contain links to content maintained by third parties that you do not control. You should review the privacy policies of each website that you visit.
VI. Service termination
If you would like to stop using the chatbot, you may type “Bye” to end the conversation. If there are issues and/or concerns, do inform the Blue Consulting Group at bcg.ateneo@gmail.com. Similarly, the Blue Consulting Group may block your account and/or delete any information associated with your account.
Please note that content you create and share on the chatbot may remain and be accessible even if your deactivate or terminate your account. Thus, do not hesitate to contact the Blue Consulting Group at bcg.ateneo@gmail.com for issues and/or concerns.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. When updated the “last updated" date below will be amended.
